PSV second place after another victory

PSV celebrated their eighth victory in a row Saturday evening.

They beat Roda JC 3 to 1. The Eindhoven team climbed to second place in the Eredivisie for now. Second place would entitle it to play the qualifying rounds of the Champions League.

Jurgen Locadia gave PSV the lead in the 14th minute, but Roda levelled that four minutes before the break. Bryan Ruiz scored in the second half for PSV and Jeffrey Bruma added another goal in the 75th minute to finish at a 3-1 final score.

Because of the Nuclear Security Summit in the The Hague, FC Twente and Feyenoord will not be playing this week. Therefore, PSV keeps its second place for at least one week.
