Minister Ploumen to visit Eindhoven

Lilianne Ploumen, the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, will come to Eindhoven for a working visit on Monday.

Together with her Walloon colleague Jean-Claude Marcourt, Minister for Economic Affairs, she will be visiting several technological companies in the region.

The visit is a follow-up to the Dutch trade mission to Wallonia in March last year. Then it was agreed to intensify the cooperation in the fields of logistics, technology and innovation.

On Monday the ministers will discuss where they stand and how their cooperation could be strenghtened.

Afterwards Ploumen and Marcourt, accompanied by Mayor Van Gijzel, will visit AddLab, a company that invests in 3D metal printers for technological companies. In the afternoon the ministers have their own programme. Minister Ploumen will remain in Eindhoven and Minister Marcourt will be going to the cities of Geleen and Maastricht.
