Saint Lucas goes for biggest ‘Glow in the Dark’ painting

Students from the Saint Lucas College have been working on what is the biggest Glow in the Dark painting ever. Today it has been completed and is being measured.

If all goes well, the painting should measure 18 by nine meters, that is 162 square meters. Martijn Paulen, the director of the Dutch Design Week and Ruben Olislagers, an Eindhoven light artist, will check to make sure that the measurements are correct. If they are correct, then this record will be credited in the Guinness Book of Records.

The students made the painting in the gym that was big enough to work in. Saint Lucas will have its Open Day this Friday and Saturday where the painting can be seen.

This is not the first time the Saint Lucas College goes for a record. This is the eighth time. It has become a yearly tradition to try and hold a record.
