Aronian wins Tata Steel Chees tournament

Armenian chess player Levon Aronian won the Tata Steel Chees Tournament 2014.

The 76th edition of this prestigious tournament took place in Wijk aan Zee. However, this year, some of the rounds were played on other locations, such as the Rijksmuseum and the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.

Anish Giri, best Dutch player, finished in second place after a draw against Hikaru Nakamura.

Chances are that players will come to Eindhoven again next year, because the organization liked the set up with various locations. It attracted more visitors, giving the tournament more publicity.
