Relief plane flies to Philippines

A relief plane departed from Eindhoven Airport heading for the Philippines today Thursday. The plane will transport supplies organized by collaborating Dutch relief organizations.

Supplies including tarpaulins, medicines, drinking water and and waterpurifiers were loaded by the Royal Netherlands Air Force into the aircraft at half past seven this morning.

The Dutch Govermnment dispatched the aircraft to carry relief supplies in addition to the 2 million Euro emergency fund that the Dutch government had already committed
