The famous Eindhoven artist Geert Hustegge has painted an icon for Pope Francis.
The auxiliary bishop of Den Bosch, Bishop Mutsearts will offer the painting at the of the year.
The icon is made up of several small images. These paintings were earlier featured in a travelling exhibition of Hustegge’s works and were seen amongst others, in the Sint Jan Cathedral in Den Bosch.
