Oirschotsedijk closed

Wednesday, part of the Oirschotsedijk is permanently going to be closed to traffic. The road will be turned into a green cycling lane and promenade.

The Oirschotsedijk is part of the so-called ‘Groene Corridor’, a green avenue leading from the centre of Eindhoven to the centre of Oirschot.

Traffic will be directed towards the Achtseweg Zuid, keeping the Philips Fruittuin (Fruit Garden) and the International School accessible.

Cyclists will not be able to use the Oirschotsedijk temporarily. They will be redirected during construction. This part of the green corridor is expected to be finished by mid-November.
