Driver minivan causes havoc on A2

Antisocial behaviour of an unknown van driver caused havoc on the A2 Sunday afternoon, according to police.

It happened near the highway exit to Waalre. A driver had to avoid the minivan and hit the median; the blow made the engine fly out of the car and crash into a caravan. Another car also got hit by chunks of debris. Both occupants had to be extracted from their car by firefighters. The man and woman have been taken to hospital with unknown injuries.The highway was closed in the direction of Den Bosch temporarily. The van’s driver reported himself to the police later.
