House prices rise in Eindhoven

House prices in Eindhoven and surrounding areas are on the rise for the first time since the beginning of the financial crisis.

In the second quarter, house prices were 1.7 percent higher than in the previous quarter according to figures from the NVM, the Dutch association for brokers.
The number of house sales has also increased. Sales of semi-detached houses slowed down, while corner houses, apartments and detached houses sold more.
Nationwide, the prices of homes decreased about 0.3 percent.
