DAF-ers lunch with FNV

FNV Metal Union held a staff meeting at DAF Wednesday. With an open truck on the bike path, next to the site, they tried to inform staff about the stalled collective labour bargaining.

DAF had not given them permission to hold the meeting on site. The truck builder is a major player in the metal industry. The labour dispute involves, among other things, working hours and flexible deployment of staff. If no progress is made during the summer months there will be relay strikes in September. They will stop working  at DAF as well.
