The covered bycicle parking at the 18 Septemberplein should have longer opening hours during the whole week. Political parties PvdA and CDA are filing a motion on this subject.
Both parties think that this will reduce the number of illegally parked bycicles in the innercity of Eindhoven.For example, people who go to a concert at the Muziekgebouw on weekdays cannot park their bycicle properly, because the parking closes too early.The large bycicle parking underneath the 18 Septemberplein is open until 11.30 pm only on Fridays and Saturdays. According to PvdA and CDA these closing hours should apply to every weekday in the future.
