Fashion designer Jan Taminiau overloaded with compliments on Queen Máxima’s dresses

The dresses Jan Taminiau from Brabant (Goirle) made for Queen Máxima received a lot of praise worldwide. On Twitter, the dresses were discussed extensively and it seems people paid more attention to the Royal Blue dress and the evening dress Máxima was wearing than to the new King Willem-Alexander taking the oath.

An anthology of praises Taminiau received:Tilburg counsellor Tine van de Weyer: “Exquisite gown Máxima from Jan Taminiau.”Royalty expert Marc van der Linden from Vught joins the praise: “Compliments to Jan Taminiau. What a magnificent creation for Queen Máxima.”In Máxima’s home country Argentina, Taminiau’s dress is also news. @CarlaModanet tweets: confirmed: Máxima wears dress from  Taminiau, one of her favourite designers. Argentinian @Queestendencia agrees: “Máxima’s choice of Jan Taminiau was wonderful.”CNN-reporter Max Foster adds to that: “Máxima is stealing the show. The dress matches the crown and the carpet.”Also Máxima’s evening dress, another Taminiau creation, was much appreciated. For instance, @fashionartphoto spoke highly of it. Source: Omroep Brabant
