Extra funding for electric car charging points

The city of Eindhoven needs more charging points for electric cars.

To encourage this, city council has made additional funding available. In total, there is an amount of 24,500 euros, enough for 49 new charging points. This concerns a subsidy for charging points on private properties. The same kind of funding was made available last year, but not many people made use of it. City council expects more charging points to be put in place this year, because more people drive an electric or hybrid car now.Up to now, there are over 50 charging points for electric cars in public areas in Eindhoven.
