The Van Abbemuseum has discovered a previously unknown painting by the Russian artist Lissitzky.
The work, Proun Vrasjtsjenia, dates from around 1919 and can be seen from Tuesday, along with other Russian works from the Lissitzky-Kabakov exhibition.The Van Abbemuseum received a tip-off which led to the painting. The work has never before been displayed in public, making this an exclusive for Eindhoven.The painting can be seen in the Van Abbemuseum until 28 April.
