The municipality of Waalre arrested two people during a control operation at the trailer park on the Broekweg Tuesday.
The civil servants wanted to determine the number of buildings that are located at the trailer park and find the ones that were built without a permit. Waalre wishes to standardize the trailer park, therefore, illegal halls and other premises need to disappear according to the municipality.Tax authorities and the energy supply company also conducted some controls. The tax administration seized some jewellery and household effects to cover outstanding debts. Electricity was cut off in eight buildings after fraud had been discovered.
