Polar bear born in Dierenrijk

EINDHOVEN – On the 16th of November, two polar bears were born in Dierenrijk, Nuenen. Now that the twins are almost a month old, the caretakers are certain that they are healthy and well taken care of. The zoo made the announcement on Wednesday.

But it will be a while before mother Frimas and the boys will come out and be introduced to the public. Until then, you will have to make do with video footage (see link).Because only a small number of European zoos have polar bears, the mother –as part of a breeding program- was brought from Canada to Nuenen for her first litter.http://www.dichtbij.nl/eindhoven/regio/artikel/2566294/ijsberen-geboren-in-dierenrijk-video.aspx
