Spanish technicians come to Brabant

EINDHOVEN – The regional development agency Brainport Development in Eindhoven is recruiting technicians with Intermediate Vocational Training qualifications (MBO) in Spanish Basque Country. There is a major shortage of well-trained personnel at companies in Southeast Brabant. Basque Country is the most important industrial region of Spain with highly regarded educational training programs.

A shortage of 2300 technicians at MBO-level is expected in the southeast of the Netherlands by 2014.The cooperation with Spanish Basque Country started September 1st. According to Yvonne van Hest from Brainport Development it involves a one-year trial. The first Spanish technicians will take part in placements.Source: Omroep Brabant
