EINDHOVEN – On Sunday, the Eindhoven police were able to trace a stolen iPad without too much difficulty. The 25-year-old owner made remote pictures of the thief and his surroundings, enabling the police to find the thief within a day.

The Apple tablet had been stolen Saturday night from a student house in the Kruisstraat in Eindhoven. The 25-year-old owner could see where his telephone was by using the tablet’s so-called track and trace system. With this system he could also make photos of the man who used the tablet and the area where he was located.Based on this, around five-thirty Sunday afternoon the police could arrest a man in a house on the Bolestein. It is a 38-year-old man without a permanent residence or place to live.Source: Omroep Brabant
