EINDHOVEN – As many as 35 Eindhoven supermarkets are in the race for an exemption to be allowed to open the doors on Sunday.
Since no more than eleven stores will get such a permit, lots will have to be drawn.All candidates have equal chances. There will not be looked at brand or district, a spokesman says.Next Thursday there will be a public draw by a notary for the Sunday opening, in the Dommel Room of the City Hall, at 15.00.
