130 per hour on the A270 starting 1 September

EINDHOVEN/HELMOND – Starting this Saturday you may, regardless of protests by the residents, between 07:00 hrs and 11.00 hrs you may drive 130 kilometers per hour on the A270, the road between Eindhoven and Helmond.

During the night the maximum speed is 100 kilometers per hour. This way the air quality on the A270 will remain within the limits. This was determined and announced Tuesday by the county.With the new variable speed limit the road will remain suitable for TNO-Automotive as an important test environment for highways in The Netherland.
