A champion’s welcome for Tech United at the Town Hall

SCHIPHOL/ EINDHOVEN – Tech United’s team received a warm welcome on Monday at Schiphol and were welcomed with honors at the local ‘Stadhuis’ (town hall) in Eindhoven.

A busload of fans and family were waiting, dressed in orange, in Tech United shirts and scarves, to welcome the world champions upon their return from Mexico City. The busload of fans that had travelled up from the TU/e (Technical University of Eindhoven) was joined at the gate by more fans that had made the journey themselves, and in addition there was a camera crew from NOS 3.By the time the team arrived in Eindhoven at around eight thirty, around 100 friends, colleagues, family and other interested parties were there to greet them.
