Petrol station owner dragged along by petrol thief in Veldhoven

VELDHOVEN – A 47 year old petrol station owner (Gulf petrol station) located on Heistraat in Veldhoven was injured on Tuesday evening when he tried to stop a petrol thief leaving the forecourt.

He ended up on the bonnet of the car and was dragged along with the car for a few hundred meters according to one eye witness. The petrol station owner was unconscious for a brief period when he was thrown from the bonnet. The petrol thief sped off in a bright green Volkswagen Polo with alloy wheels. The incident happened at quarter past five. The owner as filed a complaint with the police. Source: Omroep Brabant
