Jobs cut at Faculty of Chemistry TU/e

Tuesday, April 3, 2012

EINDHOVEN – The faculty of Chemical Technology of the Technical University Eindhoven (TU/e) will reorganize. Sixteen jobs are disappearing among the academic and support staff.

By focusing on two areas, the faculty wants to become an institution that compares with the best on European level. The choices of the faculty are in line with the major national research programs in the field of Chemistry, Energy and High Tech Systems and Materials. The main reason for the reorganization is the declining financial contribution of the government. The faculty expects to be financially healthy from 2014 on.Source: Omroep Brabant
